Accredited energy assessors · Preston, Blackpool & the North West
Book an accredited Energy Performance Certificate from £65, or start with a consultation and get a costed plan to reach band C, with the work carried out by approved installers.
Most homes built before 1990 sit at D or below. Moving up to C is usually a fabric-first job: insulation and draught-proofing before new heating.
Eco Futures is an independent energy assessment and retrofit practice based in Blackpool, working across Preston, the Fylde coast and the North West.
We started out fitting insulation and saw the same thing again and again: homes upgraded piecemeal, in the wrong order, by whoever knocked first. Eco Futures exists to do it properly. We assess the whole home, plan the work, and see it through.

Whether you need a certificate for a sale or a letting, want to know what it would take to reach band C, or are planning a full retrofit, we start from the measured performance of your home.

For landlords it is about meeting the standard. For owners it is about bills, comfort and what the home is worth. The work to get there is much the same.
Most “free surveys” are a route to selling one product. We start from the measured performance of your whole home, then see the work through.
A £65 EPC from an accredited assessor tells you the band you are on now and the measures that would lift it. Book it online and we come to you.
A whole-house retrofit assessment turns that rating into a costed, prioritised plan: fabric first, in the right order, with the grants you qualify for.
We coordinate accredited, insured installers, oversee the work to standard and sign it off. Then we re-assess so the new band is on record.
There is real money available for the right measures. We check what you qualify for during the survey and help you claim it.
